Judy's original batik art is painted with colorfast fabric dyes on silk. Sometimes she paints on handmade paper, which will be noted in the description. She gets my inspiration from you - through photos or a description of a scene you want. To get started, we would accept a deposit of $100 minimum or 20% of the cost. Your final cost would depend upon the size you want. 10” x 10” stretched silk circles or squares are $75 – they make great suncatchers to hang in a window or hung together as a mobile. Original painted silk scarves, size 8”x 54” are $60 to $75 depending on the amount of detail.

16" x 20" = $600
18" x 24" = $800
24" x 30" = $1000
24” x 36” = $1200
30" x 40" = $1800
36" x 60" = $3000

We will ship the finished batik to you unmounted via US Postal Service, along with instructions to your framer for recommended mounting and finishing. For mounted art, ornaments, books, etc. we add a shipping and handling cost, which we will quote before sending your order.
